Triste nouvelle le 17 janvier 2023 avec le décès de Jay Briscoe qui était surtout connu pour son célèbre duo des Briscoe Brothers du côté de la ROH et de la scène indépendante.
Un accident tragique de la route qui fait en sorte que Mark Briscoe perd son frère, mais aussi son partenaire, eux qui étaient actuellement les champions par équipe de la ROH. Une nouvelle qui a beaucoup fait réagir avec une annonce pendant l'épisode de NXT du 17 janvier et sur les réseaux sociaux.
Le nom de Jay Briscoe tourne partout et même du côté du directeur au contenu de la WWE - Triple H :

Being in the ring with Jay Briscoe got me my first ROH contract. He and Mark being so selfless helped Jimmy and I find our footing as AOTF. Without him, I don’t know if Tyler Black could ever have been Seth Rollins.
